The thick light area under the moon looks more to me like it's a pedestal or trunk than moon beams, which makes me think this is of the first tree in Valinor. Together with his painting of Valinor that you posted on Ring Day, I'm wondering if he felt he needed to go abstract to picture the Blessed Realm.
