You make me think of Ennis in the alley (book version - when he doesn't know what has hit him). Thank you - I hadn't thought of it that way, but you are exactly right. All the shock and unhappiness of the situation caught up with me at once, at the worst possible time. I'm glad I had the opportunity to decompress in the company of supportive friends (even virtual ones).
