Hi! I finally had a chance to pore over your two examples, full-sized. "Soft light" was the one I thought particularly good.

I mentioned "Photoshop Elements" to my husband and he said they have it on the computer at his workplace. Maybe I can try it on his lap top? I probably could get a book, too. I've put away a few for Photoshop where I work at the library.
