I am so glad I came across this article, too. I saw the Marian Coombs quote again in a string of reviews on Blossom's website (I've been poring over it because I want to do a presentation on it in my my LJ, as a sort of promotion). I thought, "Look at the date of that review! It's almost exactly six years from when it was published!" I didn't read the article until two years after she wrote it, but that quote just hit me on the head and I saw stars, or the light.
