I loved the calm reasoning and lapse of time in the book passage. The movie gives it such a sense of urgency. There were two months that Frodo was able to enjoy his uncle Bilbo's company. Even though the book rings differently you still get that sense of the same from the movie council scene. I love it all. The poem brought tears to my eyes for its simple beauty and imagining these thoughts of comfort trying to lighten an impossibly serious plight.
