Mechtild's

There are several beautifully charming illustrations, some far more complex than those I've chosen to post here. Because of Bagma's comment, I looked in our library and, although they are checked out right now, I've put my name in for a copy of The Father Christmas Letters. I hadn't even realised they were published as such. I'd only seen the illustrations. I want to read them and see how Tolkien's illustrations work with them.
