Your screencaps are always exqisitely done to illuminate Frodo's beauty. I love this scene for all the things I see in Frodo's face as he prepares to leave Rivendell. Determination and steely strength, yes, but uncertainty and wariness also. And there's this great change in him too, from that child-like hobbit who's never left the refuge of the Shire, to a being who's experienced suffering and terror, and has come to realize his own mortality in a way he hadn't before. Frodo's so afraid, and dreads leaving the comparative comfort and safety of Rivendell, but he's going on in spite of that.

He still retained some of his innocence when he set out from Rivendell. It took Moria to destroy what was left of it. But he's not nearly the same little hobbit who left Crickhollow, or Bree. Elijah broke my heart many times, but never more so than in this scene, when he somehow conveys all those things without speaking anything but those few, hesitant words.
